Our client is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that sets and raises the standards of a £multi-billion industry, aiming for best practice and sustainability of the environment. It is heavily investing in new digital solutions & applications to modernise and transform the services it offers internally and externally.
Contributing to the modernisation programme, you’ll work as part of the team on EDW architecture, data integration so the client has an effective fully populated data warehouse with accurate data.
Leading data integration you’ll with IT colleagues and the business to understand data needs and develop solutions. Liaising with other IT teams, you’ll help design and model application data structures, storage and integration across legacy, web, cloud and 3rd party environments.
Data needs to be mapped, tracked, modelled, extracted, transformed and loaded / ETL which is a key part of this role. There is a significant amount of data for which you’ll apply your data management and data governance expertise and you’ll recommend new technologies to shape the future of data technology.
About you – we’d like to hear from you if you have:

Data integration expertise on big data related initiatives

Ability to model, execute and manage data integration practices

ETL experience, ideally with Talend, however other ETL tools are acceptable and training in Talend can be provided for the right candidate. You could have experience of other ETL tools such as Informatica, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or any other major tool. SQL is required.

Data Warehouse / EDW understanding. Architecture patterns and data integration design principles is ideal

Salary - Up to £60,000 depending on expertise

Location: This vacancy is a hybrid role with a mix of working from home / WFH / remote working and 2 or 3 days per week in the Milton Keynes (Buckinghamshire) office.
